Lauren Kirichkow

Lauren Kirichkow is JAC’s full-time Staff Attorney focusing on expungement litigation, incarceration-based child support modifications and driver’s license issues for individuals re-entering our communities from incarceration.

Prior to joining JAC, Lauren worked as a Criminal Defense Attorney defending individuals pre-trial in state courts across Southern Louisiana and helping individuals free themselves from their past criminal records through expungements.

Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola New Orleans College of Law and her BS in Criminology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. While in law school, Lauren was an intern with JAC and gained invaluable experience in the workings of the not-so- “just” Justice System. Additionally, while at JAC, Lauren was awarded the LSBA 2020 Law Student Pro Bono Award for providing over 400 hours of pro bono work.

Now as JAC’s Staff Attorney, Lauren remains steadfast in her mission to dismantle barriers and foster a more inclusive society. She envisions a future where past mistakes do not define one's destiny, but rather serve as catalysts for growth and transformation.
